What kind of car workshop is Active Auto?
Active Auto is a full-service auto workshop in Dubai for accident repair, insurance claims, mechanical service, AC repair, diagnostics, paint and bodywork, tyres, detailing, and pre-purchase inspection.
Can I get an AC gas refill, a bumper repair or a windshield replacement at the same workshop?
Yes, all three are done at Active Auto's Al Quoz workshop. AC gas is refilled after a leak check, a scuffed, cracked or scraped bumper is repaired, refinished or replaced after inspection, and a damaged windshield is replaced, not repaired, with the glass and any calibration quoted for your car.
Can I come if I do not know what service my car needs?
Yes. Bring the car or send the symptoms on WhatsApp. We first identify whether the issue is mechanical, electrical, AC, bodywork, tyre, or insurance-related, then guide you to the right service.
Do you handle both insurance and cash repairs?
Active Auto assesses claim repairs after the insurer confirms workshop assignment, authorised scope and settlement for the specific policy. Customer-pay work is quoted separately.
Why choose a full-service car workshop instead of a single-service garage?
A full-service workshop is useful when the issue is not isolated. For example, an accident repair can involve bodywork, paint, suspension, alignment, diagnostics, AC, and insurance paperwork. Active Auto can coordinate those scopes in one place.
Is Active Auto only for Al Quoz customers?
No. The workshop is located in Al Quoz Industrial Area 4 for practical car access from Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, but customers come from across Dubai for workshop services, insurance repairs, AC repair, painting, and inspections.
Do I need an appointment before visiting the workshop?
Walk-ins are welcome for many inspections and assessments. For larger repairs, pre-purchase inspections, fleet work, or insurance claims, WhatsApp first so we can guide the fastest route.
