A knock over bumps, a vibration at speed, a pull to one side and a heavy steering wheel point in different directions. Give the make, model, year and what the car does, so the inspection starts in the right place.
Shocks, arms, bushes, joints and mounts
Suspension complaints resolve to specific components: dampers, springs, control arms, bushes, ball joints, links, bearings or top mounts. The report says which ones were found worn on your car and which were checked and left alone.
Steering and its own parts
Play, noise or weight in the steering can sit in the rack, the pump, the column or the joints. These are assessed alongside the suspension because the symptom at the wheel does not say which side it came from.
Air and adaptive systems are their own scope
Where a vehicle uses air suspension or adaptive dampers, the fault can be in the unit, the compressor, a sensor or a leak, and the parts differ from a conventional setup. Say if your car has one so the right checks are quoted.
Alignment after the repair, priced separately
